Dobson Fleet Management , are pleased to announce that they have this week opened a new ship management office

in Doha , Qatar, in partnership with three prominent local businessmen.

The new company operating under the name of DFM Maritime Qatar Ltd. is the first independent ship manager to be established in the state of Qatar and   will operate to strengthen our presence both in  Qatar and the GCC area, where we see  very large number of  business opportunities in shipping industry.

The DFM Group was established in 1993. and initially  managed  the company’s own  vessels but has now grown into a major 3rd party ship manager, handling   Reefer vessels, Passenger/Freight Ferries, High Speed Ferries, Container  Carriers, MPC’s, and Bulk Carriers for a variety of owners.

The company  aims to give the customers the tailored management package they need and can produce customised and flexible solutions to ensure this is achieved, whether this be in the technical, financial or crew management fields.

DFM has its headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus, the largest ship management centre in the world, thus operating in an environment at the forefront of the maritime community.

The Passenger Ferry Division is managed in Dublin , Ireland.
